    • TCL, originally registered as TTK Home Appliances Co. Limited, was founded

    • TCL went global and entered the Vietnam market.

  • 2004

    • TCL Corporation went public. Acquired Thomson TV and Alcatel mobile phones.

    • TCL reorganized its European business units and released new brand strategies.

    • TCL initiated the “Double+” strategic transformation that brought together two concepts “Smart + Internet” and “Products + Services”, and restructured its overall business into 11 business divisions: 7 divisions for products, 3 divisions for services and one division for venture capital and investment.

    • TCL was named “Global TV Brand Top 20”, “Global Top 50 CE Brands” and “Top 10 China CE Brands” by IDG.

  • 2016

    • TCL celebrated its 35th anniversary.

    • TCL and SEMP founded the joint venture SEMP TCL in Brazil.

    • TCL received the Quantum Dot Technology Gold Award of 2016 IFA Product Technical Innovation Awards.

    • TCL became the Official Home Theater Supplier (Official TV) of NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx.

    • TCL- CSOT started construction of the top generation of TFT-LCD panel production line G11, known as t6, with a total investment of USD 6.56 billion.

  • 2017

    • TCL became IDG’s 2016-2017 Global Top 50 CE Brands at CES 2017.

The XESS Series X2, the world's first QLED Android TV, received the iF Design Award 2017.

C70 - RedDot Design Award

X1 - IFA Product Technical Innovation Award

TCL has been awarded for their innovation at IFA on September 2016, for their new flagship product, the 65” QUHD Curved 4K TV Xclusive X1 Series. The Xclusive X1 TV, created to lead the trend in LCD TV business with Ultra-HD resolution, high brightness, vibrant color and deep contrast was awarded the Quantum Dot Technology Gold Award, after a selection period lasting more than 6 months.

55 ” QDH9700 TV

This 55 ” 4K LED TV is equipped with a sound system by Harman Kardon, which facilitates a comprehensive TV experience. It offers different versions foplacement so that the device can be integrated into a variety of living situations: it can be stood up, hung up or moved back and forth on rollers. The screen may also be rotated and thus adjusted to the viewing angle of the user. Statement by the jury : “This television can be set up and positioned fl exibly. Particularly notable is the option to move it on rollers.”
